Junior Miss-Comedy Tonight
Opening Script sketch outline:

Opening Number ends.
You hear Grizz’s voice trying to find his way to the stage.
As he enters the box, the lights come on. Grizz then notices everyone.

GRIZZ: Hello!? Hellooooooo....? Excuse me sir, I am looking for the Academy of Music.....Don’t
look at me that way, you know....the Academy of Music, in Northampton, it sorta looks
like......Ohhhhhh! Wowee! I made it! And just in time, I hope to be the emcee for the Oompa
Loompa Oktoberfest featuring Monkey Rodeo.....or, the Junior Miss Scholarship
Program...whichever comes first!  And since I am here and in this lovely box, I must’ve already
got the job! Hooray for me! That was easy......
Jen: wait a minute....who are you!?
Grizz: I’m Grizz and I’m the emcee.....who are you!?
Jen: I am Jen Hackworth, last year’s winner.....
Grizz: Ladies, and Gentlemen, Miss, Jennifer Hackworth! Thank you Jen! Now, on with the
show....
Jen: no you can’t be the emcee, Dave Madsen and Bill Hess are! What did you do with Bill
and Dave!

Just then Phantom of the Opera chords play. Jen freezes and panics looking about the theater. The
Phantom Sheep slowly rises into the box next to Grizz and turns around with evil look.

Grizz: akkk! It’s the Phantom Sheep!
Sheep: (as music ends) BAAahahahahahahahaha! (evil laugh over to Jen. Jen is startled) Hello, I
am the Phantom Sheep! I lurk in the hearts of men, I am hiding in the shadows....(Sheep then
turns to Grizz) Grizz? What are you doing here!?
Grizz: I am the emcee of today’s Junior Miss Program!
Sheep: What!? No, I don’t think they will let you.
Grizz: Hey! I’m gonna be the emcee, and I think they are gonna let me because Its been my life
long dream and I even bought this new snazzy suit!
Sheep: That is the outfit you always wear!
Grizz: I know! That’s because I never knew the actual day my dream would come true! And
