University of Massachusetts Food Services is celebrating National Nutrition
Month by presenting "Do you Want to be a Meal-lionaire?" to help students
learn how to make healthy food choices. Members of Phantom Sheep
Comedy Productions will be on hand to play Regis Philbin our version
of his successful game show. UMass Food Services will have their
own version of questions (nutrition and Dining Commons trivia) and prizes.
Student contestants will be given an opportunity to answer multiple choice
questions with the options of the three lifelines: 50:50, ask the audience,
or ask a friend. For every question correct, the student will be
eligible to win prizes such as pens, stress balls, smoothies or frozen
yogurt, exercise weights, pizza package, movie passes, and the grand prize
of a DVD player! Students in the audience will also be eligible for
prizes. Minute Maid is sponsoring the event.
